Carson Graham Sr Girls vs John Oliver

December 11, 2025

The atmosphere was electric from the opening moments, thanks in large part to Rob Walker’s dramatic player introductions that set the stage for a high-energy matchup. With a 12:15 p.m. tip-off, the Carson Graham grandstand was packed, and the Bleacher Bangers wasted no time shaking the gym—quite literally—whenever John Oliver stepped to the foul line.

Despite Carson’s clear height advantage, it was John Oliver’s defensive tenacity that immediately defined the game. The Jokers swarmed passing lanes and pounced on loose balls as though every possession belonged to them by right. Five minutes into the first quarter, JO held a 6–2 lead, their pressure rattling the Eagles early on.

Carson’s Badiee provided a spark with a three-pointer midway through the quarter, momentarily tightening the score. But the Jokers responded with relentless intensity, stretching the lead to 17–6 by the end of Q1.

JO’s hunger for the ball only grew in the second quarter. Point guard JO #20 showcased excellent court awareness, while Domingo continued her work as one of the team’s top “ball criminals,” stripping the Eagles of any offensive rhythm. Even another deep shot from Badiee couldn’t slow JO’s momentum, as the Jokers continued to capitalize on turnovers and strong guard play.

A well-executed setup led to a clean look from behind the arc for JO’s #8, further widening the gap. Meanwhile, Carson struggled to generate offense under the suffocating pressure, managing just their third point of the quarter on a banked-in free throw with three minutes remaining.

Shortly before halftime, with most of the student fans cleared from the gym at the referee’s direction, the Jokers held a commanding 35–9 lead. Still, the Eagles showed admirable resolve and a never-quit attitude despite the uphill battle.

In the second half, John Oliver continued their dominant performance, cruising to a decisive 69–17 victory.

Final Score: John Oliver 69, Carson Graham 17
Player of the Game: JO’s #3 L. Domingo
